Common questions

What does a typical day look like?
Half a day of lectures, with the rest of the day free. Each conference is built around the destination, so the free half is the part you planned the trip for. Hawaii opens with an afternoon session; the other days finish by early afternoon.
How big are these conferences?
Small on purpose. Big learning happens in smaller, more intimate rooms — small enough that you can ask your own question and actually talk to the speaker afterwards.
Is the CE real, or is it a holiday with a lecture attached?
It is real. Fifteen hours, taught by board-certified specialists, submitted for AAVSB RACE and NYSED approval for veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Attendance is recorded and submitted to RACEtrack for you, and you get complete seminar notes.
Can I bring my family?
Yes, and most people do. Destinations are chosen partly on whether a partner or children will be happy there while you are in class. Guest tickets for evening events can be added where they exist.
What is included, and what is not?
Registration covers the CE, all seminar materials, and your RACEtrack record, plus the meals and receptions listed on each conference page. Your room and travel are booked separately — every conference has a negotiated group rate at the host hotel.
