TOPIC: Emergency and Critical Care – Dr. Lenore Bacek
This once in a lifetime immersive CE program blends high‑quality veterinary education with unforgettable South African wildlife experiences. The event begins in Cape Town with an evening icebreaker, followed by two days of morning lectures, included meals, and curated afternoon adventures. Participants then transfer to KwaZulu‑Natal for a week at Zebra Hills Lodge, featuring daily game drives, all meals, and hands‑on conservation activities. The program includes a minimum of four wildlife veterinary procedures—often more due to active rhino conservation needs—along with visits to a rhino orphanage, a GCF K9 anti‑poaching demonstration, and integrated drone‑ranger‑K9 tracking exercises. Attendees will earn 15 hours of RACE and NYSED‑approved CE.
